This week, we are celebrating the vital role of school chaplains and wellbeing officers across Queensland schools.
Chaplains and student wellbeing officers (SWOs) provide support across the whole school community and are optional for schools. They help to monitor school wellbeing, are an additional adult role model for students and are involved in parent and community engagement.
Miss Chappy visits our school every Friday and is always ready to play hopscotch, create chalk drawings, and join us on the swings! She also makes the most amazing toast for breakfast and supports us throughout the day.
Thank you, Miss Chappy, for being a part of our school.
You are awesome!
