Kalamia State School is a co-educational, Band 5 school located approximately 7km from Ayr. It is situated in a rural setting on the edge of Kalamia Mill Estate. The school was originally established in 1928 to serve the Mill Estate and surrounding farming community.
Kalamia State School is staffed by a teaching Principal and a part-time teacher. We also have access to Learning Support and Languages Other than English teachers on a shared basis. An Advisory Visiting Teacher of Special Needs, a Speech/Language Pathologist, a Guidance Officer and a Behaviour Support teacher are also available to support student learning and behaviour when necessary.
